Gaz is nabbed!!

In my bedroom, Gaz knows she's not allowed on the bed during summer. She's way too hot. But she also knows that I'm the only one that will chase her off my bed. Kenzie or Topper lay in it and she will appear out of thin air and jump right on up, as quick as you please. Well, she got all comfy around Kenzie's legs and Kenzie CAUGHT HER and Photographed Her In The Criminal Act, so to speak. She looked cute... well, okay, it's more like WHAT!?!

Totally Inspired!!!!

I've been so lax lately. No creative muse, no creations. Then, Saturday, the flood gates opened and I've been busy ever since. This is my latest creation:
Andromeda. I have been stargazing and feeling a need to connect more with nature. I love looking at the Milky Way, but that sounded stupid for a name. So it's Andromeda!!

Lampwork Treasury

That being said, I pulled out my stash and made some earrings. Aptly titled “I am a little lampwork,” they are just that. Not their stunning big brothers and sisters that were there on the treasury, but I love these earrings none the less.

Boxed in

All right, I found these cute boxes and just had to do something. They might not be jewelry, but it's the next best thing. A place to hold jewelry.

What else can I paint on them. My mind is full of ideas, I just need the time to do it.

What a great weekend

Johnny's Birthday was yesterday. Johnny, Gary and Topper enjoyed some of Johnny's present.

I've been shopping and I love it. I've bought some many new things off of Etsy, bought 4 things in the last couple of days. Received Cranberry Yuzu Creamy Sugar Whip Body Scrub from www.madcitysue.etsy.com. Her stuff is amazing, but this stuff looks like some type of delicious, stick-your-finger-in-and-take-a-taste sort of stuff.

Stress

How can anyone find time to be creative when there's no time to even pull out a paint brush when I've got S**T on my desk that was due to me at least a week ago and it was just sent this afternoon. I've vented and now ... if I waste anymore time venting, I'm going to sprout horns and probably write a nasty email and regret it. AND I'll still be behind. UGH!

Glad Pascha only comes once a year

This used to be my favorite time of year. Maybe this

is a memo for next year. Don't work, try to start a second business and expect to be able to keep up with the evening services, let alone the midnight liturgy. UGH! I'm just thankful I didn't get sick.

Things have begun to quiet down and now I'm cleaning off some overdue work. I love the reporter I'm doing a job for right now. If they could all be like her.

Hopefully, I can apply as much time to my second job and make it work for me as well. I'm taking Maria's advice and selling my creations. (Thank you, Maria.)

I just put a new necklace up and I like how it looks. Note to self: Have Mackenzie (because she so loves taking pixs of herself) model some and have them here. What a great Idea. I'm glad I thought of it.
